How do I get started? From the home page, click on Locations and find the Mini Storage Depot facility nearest you. You can get a free quote, reserve a space online, request more information or call the location and speak to a Mini Storage Depot storage professional.
What types of storage do you offer? We welcome both Personal Storage and Business Storage customers. Personal Storage units are available for furniture, file cabinets, family keepsakes or seasonal lawn and garden equipment. For business professionals, we offer Business Storage units where file cabinets, documents and office furniture can be securely stored and easily accessed.
What kind of security features do you offer? We offer state-of-the-art technology, including: building intruder alarms, computer-controlled access, individual unit door alarms, multi-camera video surveillance and high-security unit locks.
What are your unit sizes? Unit sizes range from approximately 4 x 3 to 40 x 40 and about 10’ high, depending on location. Many facilities also offer smaller and larger spaces, from storage lockers to extra-large units. Do you have climate-controlled units? Climate-controlled units, which maintain a set temperature range to insulate and preserve your belongings, are available at many facilities. Inquire at the facility nearest you about climate-controlled storage units.
Do I have to sign a long-term storage contact? Due to storage lien-laws, all new tenants are required to sign a lease agreement with Mini Storage Depot in order to store their belongings. The length of the lease can be as short as 1 month, or as long as you'd like! The leasing process is very simple and does not require more than a few minutes of your time. Do you have long-term or prepay discounts? YES! Many Mini Storage Depot customers take advantage of our long-term and prepay discounts. While the discounts can vary from store-to-store, tenants will receive substantial savings by taking advantage of the available discounts. Prepay discounts are offered on 3, 6 and 9 month terms, and long-term discounts are offered on 6 and 12 month terms. In addition, certain stores also offer discounts for tenants who sign up for our auto-pay program. The auto-pay program is a great feature for tenants to ensure their rent is always paid on time and also receive a discount without committing to a long-term lease. Do you provide dollies or carts to help me move my things? Dollies and handcarts are available at each facility to aid in your move-in and move-out processes.
Do I need storage insurance? Though not mandatory, storage insurance is highly recommended to protect the value of your belongings. Some facilities provide storage insurance, or you can check with your personal insurance provider.
Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking? Mini Storage Depot offers vehicle and boat storage at some facilities, but not all. Please check with the facility nearest you.
What's the difference between access hours and office hours? Office hours indicate the presence of a Property Manager who provides in-person customer service, such as accepting payments, answering questions, selling supplies, etc. During access hours, you can use your gate code to access your storage unit, but a Property Manager may not be on hand to assist you.
